Tomorrow :
When the CDB's were
established, the Minister directed that each one must prepare
and oversee the implementation of a new county strategy for
Economic, Social and Cultural development. This should cover
all major services, and should involve intensive research and
consultation. When finalised, this strategy should provide a
"shared vision" for the development of County Kilkenny
for up to 10 years ahead.
We
have called this strategy Kilkenny Tomorrow to reflect
the fact that we are aiming to develop a broad view of
where County Kilkenny should aim to be in the future.
It is essential that the vision behind Kilkenny Tomorrow
is a shared one. This way it will become an agreed framework
within which we can all move forward together for the
good of Kilkenny.
